JWR Construction Services recognizing an employee’s 20 year tenure with the company

JWR Construction Services, Inc. a general contracting firm headquartered in South Florida, is recognizing an employee’s 20 year tenure with the company.

Paul Novak started his career on November 21, 1994 after a fellow graduate of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Apprenticeship Program told him about a construction company in Deerfield Beach that was hiring a skilled carpenter that could do wood working, moldings and finish work. He made such a good impression during his interview with Jerry DuBois, the President of JWR Construction, that Jerry asked him to start immediately.

Paul’s carpentry skills and ability to work with clients is well documented. As an example, Paul worked for over 3 months renovating the Archbishop of Miami’s home, while the Archbishop was occupying the residence. The Archbishop could not find enough praise for Paul, and stated that his carpentry and mill-work were “worthy of the Vatican!”

“JWR Construction has developed a reputation for high quality construction, attention to detail and customer service,” said William J. Gallo, Executive Vice President. “This culture is not something a company implements overnight.  It is due to individuals like Paul that we are able to realize these hallmarks. When it came to building my own home, I would only let Paul attend to the many details that won us the 1998 Craftsmanship Award from the Construction Association of South Florida for best overall project of the year. Thank you Paul for all your years of service for our company.”

Paul has succeeded on all projects he has been tasked with, both commercial and residential. His volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Rebuilding Together Broward, Sample McDougald House and Broward Children’s Center is well documented and is a core value of Paul’s moral compass. “Expertise, pride, commitment and attitude is why Paul has been a coveted team member of JWR Construction for over 20 years,” said Jerry.
